Stand out from the crowd
Making your email festive isn't always enough. Simple changes can encourage your audience to feel festive, is it enough? Images such as snowflakes, Christmas trees and tinsel are commonly used, but remember that you're simply using images that people commonly associate with Christmas, you didn't invent the connection. 

If your email doesn't stand out, it's less likely your email will be remembered. After all, if your audience receives multiple emails with the same image and similar content, they'll probably just switch off.

So be creative and inject some unique content in to your emails to capture the attention of your recipients!
